2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be EE, saying my old SIM was about to stop working in the next 12 hours and they needed to send me a replacement. They kept pushing for my email address but I refused to give it out. Told them if there was really an issue they already know where to send a new SIM, no need for more info. The person on the phone kept insisting it was just the email they needed, nothing else. I stayed firm and ended the call once they started getting annoyed. Watch out, folks, never share your personal details! Total scam attempt!EE2 yearsI had the call on record and the moment it started recording, they just went and ended the call haha.2 yearsI got a call from a bloke claiming to be from Sky Mobile (which I am a customer of) and he asks how much I’m currently paying. Bit odd as I thought they’d ask some sort of security stuff first, you know? Then he says I’m eligible for a discount. I told him my bill is £31, but he clearly didn’t catch that and said, “£51 then, with your discount it’d be around £40.” Didn’t sound right at all so I just ended the call. Pretty sure they were fishing for my details after that.Sky Mobile2 yearsSo, I got calls from these numbers and some other landline pretending to offer unlimited data contracts for just £10 a month. I wasn’t buying it at all. Pretty quickly, I spotted it was a scam and told the person I wasn’t interested.2 yearsSomebody rang me saying they were with Three and started going on about some phone deal? I struggled to make sense of the conversation, felt like it was dodgy, probably a scam.2 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse, but they could hardly speak any English.
