Got a call from someone claiming to be Appliances Direct, saying my insurance for my cooker, washing machine, and fridge freezer was about to run out and asked if I wanted to renew. But I don’t have any insurance on those at all - plus one of them is still covered by its 42-month warranty. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!

If you check the comments on the Who Called Me site for the numbers 01482 999 2424, 0203 677 5288, and 10203 246 2477 you’ll see loads of people fed up with these morons. They keep ringing nonstop about some washing machine insurance scam. Honestly, it’s the same annoying calls all the time!

Got a call from someone pushing a cheaper insurance plan for my washing machine which is like 6 years old. I’ve never even had insurance for it before. Told the bloke to jog on and ended up blocking the number.
