A chap claimed to represent an energy firm, but when I politely declined to engage in any phone transaction, he abruptly hung up on me. Quite the rude behaviour, if you ask me!

I've had a right nuisance with some bloke saying he was from Scottish Power, ringing me repeatedly. The chap didn't take the hint to back off. I tried to get in touch with Scottish Power directly, only to find they use a completely different 0800 number. When I rang back, all I got was a generic message telling me they were overloaded with calls. Quite baffling, to say the least!
