Got a call from this bloke at half 8 in the evening, clearly a scam. Don’t give them any of your info, it’s just not worth it.

I honestly couldn’t care less if these callers are legit or not. Just don’t ring me. Not at 7 in the evening, not at 11 in the morning or any other hour. I definitely haven’t given you my permission. Phone calls are so annoying. It’s like they expect us to stop whatever we’re doing and chat right away. Nope, not me. Leave a voicemail and I’ll choose if I want to ring YOU back.

I didn’t bother picking up. I’ve just started ignoring calls from numbers I don’t know - if it’s important, they can always leave a voicemail. Cheers to this site for helping me realise it was a scam, so now it’s saved on my phone as that.

Got a call from O2 about some market research but it was done by another firm. The survey was really lengthy with loads of questions where you had to rate things from 1 to 10 and a bunch of yes or no ones too.

Got a voicemail that just mentioned something about legal action, no other details.

Got a call from a person saying they were from BT or Quadrent or something like that. I nicely told them I wasn’t interested in their “survey” and ended the call. They tried ringing again the next day, but I just ignored it. Now I’ve blocked the number for good. How come BT passed on my info to them? Isn’t GDPR meant to stop this kinda thing?

They said it was a survey and wanted to ask me a few questions, but I told them I don’t really take part in phone surveys unless I’m sure who’s calling. They just hung up straight away after that.
