I received a rather peculiar call from a company supposedly about wellness, inquiring about my health status - not the most natural icebreaker, if you ask me! The voice had a distinctly artificial tone to it, which just added to the strangeness. They seemed to know my name, but it felt more like a nuisance than anything else, possibly even a scam. Quite frankly, it was quite bothersome, especially since I was actually waiting for an important call from someone else, which is why I picked up in the first place. Ever since I made a rather unwise purchase from "Easylife" a couple of years back, I find myself inundated with nuisance calls and texts on both my mobile and landline. It’s frustrating, to say the least!
