Got a call from a woman saying she was ringing from Aviva about some extras for my life insurance. I told her I was tied up at the moment, and she went on to ask if my TV show was really more important than sorting out my life insurance. Naturally, I told her yes, and then blocked the number - 0003 was the caller ID.

Some bloke named David or summat called me, had a heavy Indian accent and was waffling on about life insurance. I didn’t wait for him to get a word out properly, just told him to get lost and never bother me again before hanging up. Proper annoying when you’re waiting for something important!

Got a call that showed up as coming from London, but the person said they were with a life insurance benefits company based in Manchester. They asked if I had any life insurance. When I questioned them about why the call appeared to be from London instead of Manchester, they couldn’t give me a clear answer. I just ended the call.
