4 yearsSomeone rang me saying they were from BT Openreach, telling me there was some dodgy issue with my router that was causing email problems. They said they couldn’t send me an email because of some security breach, but my emails were perfectly fine and my security software was all up to date, plus my internet speed test came back good. The bloke, who called himself 'Steve', couldn’t prove he was legit at all. Honestly, the odd mix of an Indian accent and a very British name made me suspicious straight away. From what I know, decent and skilled IT folks from India usually don’t try to hide behind English names.
