I wanted to know the name of the company, and he said it was the Pensions Advisory Service. Then he told me I had some frozen pensions, but I’m certain I don’t. When I asked if they were based in the UK, he confirmed they were. I tried asking for their company registration number, but he didn’t have a clue. After I told him that wasn’t very helpful, he just ended the call.

They called asking if I shop at Sainsbury's and have a Nectar card. When I said yes, they tried to get me to confirm my address, which they already knew. I told them I wasn’t about to share my address, and they just hung up on me.
