I picked up the call but struggled to catch what the person was saying due to some really obnoxious background racket. After I kept attempting to greet them, they abruptly ended the call. I then dialled the number again and was met with the same automated message in an American tone, just like I’d seen mentioned by others.

I've had a similar encounter as mentioned earlier. I received a message requesting me to return the call, along with their operating hours. However, when I finally managed to get through, I was put on hold, and a person with a foreign accent kept reiterating how urgent my call was. It was quite off-putting, so I decided to hang up. At no point did they clarify who was attempting to reach me or the reason for the call.

I'm receiving calls from this number at both my home and mobile on a daily basis, sometimes up to three times, including Sundays. I've already blocked it on my mobile, but I’m puzzled as to how they managed to find my home number since I'm ex-directory. Can anyone give me advice on how to put a stop to these calls?
