I reckon this is probably just one of those cold calls where they throw a load of info at you hoping to confuse you and get you connected to someone. Didn’t really fool me, tho.

They already had my info but still asked if they could email me. Felt a bit suspicious, so I said no thanks and ended the call straight away.

I got a call from a woman trying to sell me something and she was so rude. When I asked her to quit phoning me, she started going on about "ethics" like I was the one in the wrong. I just ended the call straight away.

Somebody rang me up asking me to download a file - as if I’d ever fall for that!

Some woman rang asking for the IT manager. I just ended the call right then. She rang back pretty annoyed and said I shouldn’t be so scared when someone from overseas phones me. I told her I’d respond the same way again and put the phone down.

Some woman rang me up asking if I was X person who supposedly had Y as a job. Thing is, she’s got my old job title from like five years back. She then went on about offering some sort of tech services. I told her I never agreed to any calls like that and asked her to take me off their calling list.

Some woman rang me up asking to talk to a department manager. She didn’t give her name or say which department she was with, nor did she explain the reason for the call. All she kept saying was that she “NEEDS” to speak to a manager and that she’d ring back later. Quite annoying!
