I got a call from a guy claiming to be from O2, telling me I’d earned a 40% discount. He already had loads of my details, including bank and card info, which made it sound legit. Then he said I qualified for a free Apple Watch as a reward for being a loyal customer, but I had to pay £30 upfront first, which he promised I’d get refunded. When I refused to give him my 3-digit pin, he suddenly got really annoyed and started shouting, so I just ended the call. Definitely a scam, but they were pretty convincing.
