My caller ID blocked the call so no voicemail was left. But when I tried to call back the number it says it's wrong or not in service. Bit strange!

Definitely one of those risky scam calls. Anytime a number like this rings, I just let it go straight to voicemail. If there’s no message left, it’s a safe bet it’s a scam. I’ve gone ahead and blocked it, plus added it to my blacklist.

This guy claiming to be "Bob" rang me up saying my boiler warranty had run out. Funny thing is, it seems to run out pretty often since I get these calls a few times every year! Not buying it at all.
