Over the past week, I've gotten quite a few calls from the same number, all asking for me but using my old name. When I answered once, a bloke started going on about a Kenwood washing machine, which I’ve never owned nor even had. As soon as I said that, he just ended the call. After that, I got three more calls from that number on my mobile, each time them asking for me by my old name. When I told them that person isn’t around anymore, they just dropped the call straight away!

They called me at least three times every day, but I never picked up. One time I did answer and mentioned they’d called me loads, then they just hung up on me. Told them off for being rude, and they hung up straight away again. I’ve blocked the number now, just too much bother. Definitely some kind of scam.
