The woman said she was from Unicare and tried to get me to confirm my age. I just couldn’t trust it so I refused. In the end, she just disconnected the call. Bit disappointing really!

Got a call from a woman with an accent, who already knew my full name and where I live! She kept saying I'd be getting a £20 voucher for Sainsbury's or maybe Morrisons. I've been getting these annoying calls from a 0203 number almost every day now, and it’s driving me mad! Loads of times, the caller ID just says "Private Caller" or something like that, so I pick up thinking it could be something important, but then the line just goes dead. There’s also been a bunch of calls from international numbers, which I used to bother answering, but now I just let them ring out. This 02036349913 keeps popping up too, and I’m starting to think all these calls might be connected since the same thing happens when I answer - silence on the other end. From now on, I’m not picking up unless I know who it is. Hopefully, they’ll lose interest. Besides, a genuine call would leave a voicemail, right?

Just got a call at 6pm from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT working with Virgin Media, asking if I’d been getting annoying calls. I snapped back that yes, I’d had plenty, including hers, cos she was interrupting my guitar lesson. I hung up straight away. When will these pathetic spam callers quit bothering us? Surely the telecom folks will do something to put an end to this.

Got a call from 02036349913 and the person asked if I shopped at Saintsbury's. I asked if it was a survey, he said no but promised a £50 voucher. Then started asking the same kind of stuff others mentioned - like how old I was and complimented my voice. I asked again if it was a survey and he said no. Then he went on about endowments and homeownership. I said I wasn’t going to share that info and ended the call.

Today I got a call from someone speaking English with a strong Asian accent, saying they were from Unicare UK. They tried to verify my postcode and age among other details. Once I mentioned I’m on the TPS list, she said sorry, wished me a ‘happy holidays’, and ended the call. I looked up Unicare UK and found the company was actually dissolved back in November 2016. Watch out, dodgy caller trying to scam cash! 20:15/Thu/1/12/2016 Got a call from someone with an English name but sounded like they were from Asia, maybe Pakistan or India. Using a spoofed London number, very sneaky. I blocked this one (number 43 now), but as soon as I do, they switch to a different number. Feels like folks in BT or EE call centres, maybe current or former staff in India, behind this rubbish.

Hey, got a call from 02036349913 at about 7.28pm on Thursday 01.12.2016 claiming to be from Unicare UK. They said they wanted to help block unwanted calls. When I said I’d already sorted it with my own provider and wasn’t interested, the person, don’t know if it was a bloke or a woman, said they hoped I’d keep getting those annoying calls. Strange behaviour.

This is really out of order, I get calls anytime from someone saying they're with "BT" to stop nuisance calls. I told them I’m in a warmer place and have ways to block these numbers. Got a call from a woman speaking with a Caribbean accent. She claimed to be from Unicode and said they were checking up on complaints about annoying calls from BT, SKY, and Virgin users. When she used my husband’s name as a reference, I knew straight away it was a scam.

Had a call from an Asian woman, but my mum, who’s almost 90, couldn’t make out a single word she said. I grabbed the phone and asked who it was. She claimed to be from Unicare about unwanted calls and so on. What I said back isn’t really suitable to share! Now I’m trying to get hold of the ‘call preference centre’ yet again because their system clearly isn’t working. How on earth do they think it’s okay to ring my elderly mum like that, making her panic thinking it might be the doctors or hospital, and she couldn’t understand a thing. Bloody annoying!!!

Got a call from this number, an Asian lady was on the line, you could hear kids playing in the back. She said it wasn’t a sales call and asked me to verify my address, then read out an old address I used to live at. When I told her my address is private and not for her business, she just ended the call.

I never caught the woman’s name but she claimed to be from Unicare, mentioning BT, Sky, and TalkTalk about nuisance calls. Her accent was more American than I expected, and she seemed a bit thrown when I told her I was too busy to chat and didn’t let her get a word in. A quick Google check of the phone number and company name led me here. I reckon it might easily fool folks who aren’t careful when they bring up nuisance calls.

Today I got a call from this number. A lady who said her name was Amanda Green was asking for me by my first name. She then started saying something but I couldn’t catch it. When I asked her to repeat herself, all she did was keep calling out my name. I just stayed quiet and she hung up. The accent was really hard to understand, I couldn’t figure out what the point of the call was. She claimed to be from TPS, but I still keep getting these annoying calls!

Got a call from a Lisa Williams claiming she was from Unicare, supposedly helping to stop junk calls. She already had my surname and address and was trying to find out my first name. I told her I wasn't buying it and suspected she was just another telemarketer. She tried to reassure me, saying they'd be covered by data protection laws. I played along for a bit, then told her I'd hang up and look into it online. What a bloody hassle these lot are.

Got a call at 6:23 this evenin from a woman claiming they’re helping block nuisance calls. Didn’t quite catch who she said she was with. Asked if I’ve got a BT number. Twice in as many days they've rung me up. They claim they're trying to offer a way to block unwanted calls, but isn’t it ironic they’re exactly that - unwanted themselves? I’m suspicious they could be scams or just checking if I’m home for some dodgy reason, which makes them risky and maybe even breaking the law. They really need to be put an end to. Clearly I’m not the only one frustrated by them. Makes you wonder how many people don’t bother filing reports like this. If they get in touch again I’m definitely reporting it to the coppers.

I've had two calls from these lot in just two days. They claim they want to put in place a system to block unwanted calls, but ironically, they're calling me out of the blue themselves. If this is some kind of scam or a tactic to see whether I'm home for dubious reasons, it's definitely sketchy and likely against the law. They need to be dealt with. Got a call from this number at 6:06pm today. The person on the other end couldn’t say my surname right, so she just used my first name. Since I’m on the phone preference service, I asked if I had authorised the call, which usually makes them hang up straight away. I told her to take my number off their list and not to ring me again. Then the caller asked if I was getting other unwanted calls and got a bit rude, threatening to ring me back if I didn’t cooperate. I told her I’d report them and why. Now just waiting to see if they call again.

Got a call today, 19/11/16, from a lady who seemed to have a West Indian accent. She said something about being connected with BT. I told her we’re on the TPS list to stop cold calls, and when I asked what permission she had from BT, she pretty much ended the call. I also asked where their Head Office was - she said something like Rochford, near the M25. Whenever I mention wanting to speak to a supervisor, they usually hang up sharpish.
