My 17 year old daughter got a robo message on her phone saying she shouldn’t ignore it and must call back. The caller said they were David Grey from HM Revenue and Customs and warned her legal trouble would come if she or her solicitor didn’t get in touch. This came right after she was added to the electoral register. It’s awful how they try to scare young people like that.

Got a call from 020 3966 7425, I picked up, told them to buzz off, then ended the call. Proper annoying, you block em and they still keep ringing back.

I keep getting calls from various 0208 numbers but they never bother to leave a message on my voicemail. When I’ve actually picked up, it’s the same person using a different number each time, just saying they want a chat. I ended up giving them the Samaritans number and then put the phone down.

They said something like "Legal Advice Agency" early on in the call - can't quite recall - sounded like one of those car accident scams. When I asked where they got my number from, they wouldn’t say which database, and they didn’t know my surname either. As soon as I started asking if the call was legit, they just hung up on me.

The details they possess are not reliable at all, and they clearly disregard the rules set out by the Telephone Preference Service, the Data Protection Act, and even the simplest principles of cold calling. There’s absolutely no option for anyone to update their information or get themselves taken off the list. It’s nothing more than a dodgy operation aimed at lining their pockets.

Ringed me today saying I had a no fault claim against me! If it's no fault, how does a claim even make sense? They wouldn't say who the driver was or which insurer because of data protection laws. Said they got my info from some opt-in database, but I honestly never signed up for anything. Got put on hold for ages, probably someone new on the job. Got a bit annoyed and ended the call, fingers crossed they don't bother me again! Marking it as suspicious since when she heard about a small accident I had, she suddenly tried to push me into making a claim!

These people are really impolite, give wrong details, and it's just a trick to make cash. They said I was in a crash after 2014, which isn't true and feels like they're trying to steal info. They say they've got my personal details, but that's incorrect and doesn’t follow data protection rules. They have no right to ring me and there’s no way they update their info to match what's real now - a clear violation every time. Seriously, don’t pick up calls from this number or believe a word they say.
