Seems like they’re all connected to one firm. Some young bloke with a Liverpool accent said the company was ACSG, or accident support group, which is just made up. As usual, I hung up as soon as I got suspicious. 034588218177 What a terrible way to make money.

It sounded like some accident claim outfit. First he tried to make it seem like he was from my insurance firm, but when I asked which one, he just said he worked “alongside” them. I just hung up, fingers crossed he doesn’t ring again.

They rang me but just hung up as soon as I picked up. This happened two more times after that. Not sure if they’ll keep doing it but from what I’ve read here, best advice is NOT to give out any info, not even your full name! Honestly, just don’t pick up at all.

Some bloke said he was with ACS and that I had £2500 compensation waiting from an accident I was in. He even knew stuff about my crash, my car number, the name and car of the person who hit me. He wanted me to say I was hurt so I could get the money. My spidey senses started tingling. I told him there was no injury and I wasn’t after any cash. Then he just hung up on me.

Watch out! They're asking for National Insurance numbers which smells like a scam and potential identity theft. They claim to be from ACSG, a company named Accident Claim Support Line. The callers sound like they're from Liverpool. They tried to get me to admit I was injured in a car crash so I could claim £2000 supposedly waiting for me. They had loads of personal details about me, saying they got it from Allianz Insurance. I've never had anything to do with Allianz. A quick Google search showed no info on this company.
