I got a call from someone pretending to be O2, telling me my SIM card was incompatible and that they’d sort a replacement. Obviously, it was a dodgy scam trying to trick me. I rang an official O2 number to check and they confirmed my SIM was completely fine. This isn’t the first time I’ve had a call like this, so I’m convinced it’s just scammers impersonating O2. My phone actually flagged the number as Suspected Spam, but I only saw that after the call. Luckily, I already knew to be careful with these calls.
