Got a call from this number, turns out it's some car finance recovery lot. A lady with an accent that wasn’t British asked for my daughter. When I asked who she was exactly, she said she was a mate of hers and then just hung up. My daughter has her own phone, so not sure how she thought this would work.

Got a call from someone saying they were with McMillan Cancer. Seemed nice enough and kept the conversation going, but I wasn’t sure if it was legit. Told him I don’t talk about giving money over the phone, especially when it’s so late, like 8pm or something.

It was a scam, so I just blocked the number and didn’t answer.

I've been getting calls loads from this number, and others starting with 020 3634, like all day for weeks now, sometimes as many as 6 times a day. I accidentally picked up one time, but they just hung up straight away. Since then, they keep ringing every day when I don’t pick up, and I try blocking them but then they switch to another number and keep calling. Proper annoying!
