Had a pretty similar thing happen to me recently. Got a call from 02036346607 and the person on the line already had my name, address, date of birth, and even some bank details - though not exactly where my account is held. They sounded quite convincing (they always do, right?). I rang the number back and spoke to another guy who seemed to be clued up on the whole thing and even knew the first caller's name. After that, he rang me back from 02036346580. Not sure if it was legit or some kind of scam. Can't quite work it out.

They keep calling and just drop the line as soon as I pick up.

They called me up four times today and I didn’t pick up any of em. Got calls from this number loads of times before as well. Something about it just don’t sit right with me.

It was all a bit dodgy when they started talking on and on about some syndicate lottery, even asked me to pick numbers. They made some noises in the background and kept bringing up my kids, asking their names as well. Then, they kept saying I didn’t need to hand over any cash right now, but then suddenly wanted to know which bank I used! Felt like they were fishing around for info to crack passwords or something. I just ended the call and am waiting to see if they really send that supposed email about my 'future winnings'!

Got a call from someone pretending to be the lottery, they even knew my name which made it a bit sus. I dont play the lotto so I have no clue who they were. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
