A lady called Nancy Green from onlinelotto.co.uk rang my son and she was really convincing on the phone. He got completely taken in and ended up sharing his card info. Luckily, no money has actually been taken by direct debit yet. He’s planning to visit the bank tomorrow to make sure they block any payments or direct debits to this dodgy site.

I got a call from this online lottery firm, might be legit but they wasted no time trying to ask for my bank info. The guy on the phone said his name was Romeo Ross.

Got a call from this number claiming to be from some online lottery. They started asking me about my bank details, which I wasn't about to share. The bloke was pretty persistent and kept pushing me. He said his name was Breton or something like that. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

I’m pretty sure this company is genuine but how they got hold of my number is a mystery. They had loads of my info, like my name, date of birth and address, but when I asked them to correct some details they said I’d entered an Amazon contest for £1000. I enter loads of draws so no idea if that’s legit or not. I gave them my details (which was daft of me) and they promised to send over all the info. The email they sent was super vague and didn’t really seem personalised at all. I cancelled my direct debit before the 1st December payment went out, and so far no money has come out of my account.
Would probably advise against it, especially giving card details over the phone. Definitely won’t be doing it again.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be Doran Thomas from Euro Millions, saying I won the lottery. Was clearly a scam to get my bank info and do some identity theft. Don't share your bank details with anyone like that. Better to ring up your bank and cancel your account, then report it straight to Action Fraud. Stay safe out there!

I got a call a little while ago and foolishly gave out my info. I've rang my bank now, but they said no direct debits have been arranged by those people yet, so there isn’t much they can do for the time being.
