02036342531 rang me again today, has been calling nonstop all week but I never answered. Said he was Ruben from Vodafone or something. I hung up straight away coz I know my internet and phone are fine. Don't trust him one bit.

Vodafone called me about my broadband renewal. I checked their website and put the number into their ‘is this Vodafone calling’ feature, which showed it was genuine. Definitely not a scam.

I didn’t know the number so just let it ring out. They didn’t even leave a voice message or anything.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, talking about an upgrade. Didn't seem right, so I just ended the call. Wouldn't trust it at all.

Somebody said they were from Vodafone and actually knew my name and mobile number. They asked for personal info to do some sort of verification, but it was obviously a scam trying to rob me. Just a heads up to everyone out there!

Just got a call claiming to be from Vodafone, saying they wanted to talk about my broadband deal ending soon. Umm, it’s not up for renewal for another half a year!

A few folks reckon this might be a scam, but it’s actually Vodafone calling. If you google “is Vodafone calling” it’ll lead you to their official site where you can enter the number and check it’s real. My contract’s about to end too, so I guess they’re just trying to get me signed up for a new deal.

Very impolite and kept bothering me, claimed he was my broadband supplier so I just hung up.

Someone rang saying they were from Vodafone about my contract ending soon (but its not up for renewal for another 3 months). I told them to call me after 4pm once I’m done with work, and they actually rang right on 4pm. I’d avoid these calls and just get in touch with Vodafone yourself to sort out any contract stuff.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, said my contract needed renewing (which is totally not true). Definitely a scam.

This number has been ringing me nonstop. When I called back, the person just said “Hello” and when I asked more, he got kinda defensive and said “Hello, you’re speaking to Vodafone” then started asking for my pin and personal info. I hung up right away and called Vodafone myself, and they confirmed that’s not one of their lines. Don’t share any of your info with them!

got a call from someone who said they were with Vodafone and told me my broadband contract was up for renewal, said they could save me some cash. then they started asking for my Vodafone pin and security word, could have been genuine but i decided to play it safe and told them it wasn’t a good time and i’d ring back later.

I got a call from this number a couple of days back. A lady who said her name was Jackie, claiming to be from Vodafone. She actually had my full name and asked if it was alright to call me by my first name. She told me my contract was ending soon and I should renew or it'd cost me more. I felt a bit iffy since my contract isn’t up this year and Vodafone never calls me. I asked her to send me details about their deals, but she said she'd only do that once I renewed. It all sounded dodgy, so I just ended the call.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Vodafone, and they actually knew my address and name. They told me I'd won an upgrade, but I just told them I wasn't fussed. They quickly said bye and hung up :D

Someone said they were from Vodafone, asked if I wanted an upgrade. They knew my name but had no clue about my actual plan, so definitely not Vodafone. I ended the call and blocked the number. Nowadays, anyone can get a London number via VOIP services like RingCentral and loads more. Vodafone never calls me since I’ve opted out of marketing calls, so it was a total scam.

Someone called saying they were from Vodafone. They asked for me using my old surname, which Vodafone already changed after I got married. They tried to say my contract was finished, but I renewed it a few months back under my new name, so I knew it was dodgy straight away and just ended the call.

If folks just ignored cold calls it would probably end pretty quick. But since some do pick up or reply, these callers keep going. I personally don’t bother and whenever a company calls out of the blue or sends me junk mail, I always avoid them and have done this quite a few times now.

i reckon its just one of those calls to check if your line is active, so they can later bombard you with spam or trade your number to other scammers. just ignore and block them! total spammers!

got a couple of dodgy calls yesterday and ended it straight away, figured it was one of those scams. blocked the first number but then got another call from a close but different number, blocked that too. seriously, can’t these scammers be tracked down and punished? loads of folks my age aren’t as clued up about phone and online safety as i am.

This number has been ringing me non-stop for weeks. It all started after a car crash which has already been settled through the insurance firms. Both men and women have been calling, at all sorts of odd hours. They won’t say how they got hold of my home phone number, despite me asking several times for them to remove me from their list, the calls just keep coming. Since I’m recently retired from the police force and given the workload on the police nowadays, I’m wondering if there’s a civil law option I could pursue against this company?
