Got a robo call from 02036311800 saying there’s a tax fraud case against me with HMRC. They told me to press one to talk to an agent or else an arrest warrant would be issued in my name. I just hung up straight away cos I’m sure this isn’t real and HMRC wouldn’t threaten like that over a call. Seems like a scam to me. If anyone else has had calls from this number, please warn others. Would appreciate if someone confirms if this is a scam or not. Cheers, David.

I got a call supposedly from HMRC, saying I’d committed some sort of fraud and I owed them money. It sounded pretty dodgy, like a scam trying to scare me into paying up. Definitely didn’t sound right to me.
