Got a call from some scammers, which was pretty scary since the bloke actually called me by my first name and claimed I’d signed up for whatever service they were pushing. This caller had my entire name right off the bat. The voice sounded Asian, maybe Indian, but they were trying to pass off as English-Jamaican, blasting some loud reggae tunes behind them which made it really hard to catch what they were even saying in their fake accent. :-P He claimed to be from an investment company and wanted to know how much money I had and what I was interested in investing. I played along for a bit, but soon got fed up and started asking him questions back, which made him hang up pretty sharp, like within 10 seconds.

Yeah, it was that usual wealth scam. They somehow already had my name and claimed I’d enrolled in something. I asked nicely for them to remove me from their list, but she flat out refused. I mentioned I was tied up in a Teams meeting, which I honestly was, and she just went on, “I get you’re busy but trust me, you’ll want to hear this...” Then she got more and more rude, so I said, “Fine, just spit it out then.” She ended up replying, “No, I’m not telling you anything now”... honestly, what a bizarre call!

I reckon this is one of those dodgy phishing calls, asking if you’ve had an accident. They’ve phoned me two times in just a couple of days. I haven't answered yet - and a proper caller would’ve left a voicemail by now.
