hi so got a call saying it was Visa - I hit 1 like they asked but honestly I could tell it was dodgy right away, the guy then asked me why I called him! I told him he was the one who rang me. he asked again, so I asked for his name. then he tried saying if I was from "our business name" I called him a scammer and he just laughed saying I was nuts haha

I guess this is dgsolutions windows calling, unless someone’s gone and copied this number. If you’re legit, leave a message, otherwise just quit it. And seriously, don’t bother us with telemarketing calls, that ship’s sailed. Everyone’s on the internet nowadays and with all the scammers around, people are fed up with getting calls on their mobiles or landlines. Just leave us be.

DG Solutions seem to be a company that installs windows and they’ve got decent feedback online. I missed a call from them myself, but if it’s the sales team ringing, probably just trying to get new clients rather than anything dodgy. If you’ve been called a few times, just tell them to stop or let them know you’re not looking for windows at the moment. Unless someone’s somehow cloned their number, it’s worth checking when you pick up.

Got a call from a lady with a thick accent, really hard to catch what she was saying. Said she was doing a survey, not trying to sell anything. Asked me stuff about life insurance, prepaid funerals, and who I use for energy. She already knew my name and where I live. I didn’t share any info, just answered yes or no to her questions.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent, sounded proper pushy and kept pressing me when I didn’t want to reply. I got fed up and raised my voice at him, and then he just cut me off. Feels like I won that little battle, but no doubt it was a scam. I’ve blocked the number since.

Just my opinion, but it really sounds like someone whose first language isn’t English, maybe Asian English or something. I told them straight up I’m not interested in any survey, yet this company rings me almost every day! Feels like a proper scam to me. I’m so tired of blocking these numbers but they keep coming through, probably because they keep switching digits. Such a pain in the neck! I blocked it again but I’m sure they’ll be back soon enough.

I did one of those preference surveys and soon after loads of companies started ringing me up. Looks like they’re selling your info on. Beneficial is one of them too, ive tried giving fake info like a made up name and postcode, and still got calls a few days later asking for the fake person. Seems they really do share your details around.
