Got a call from what sounded like a busy call centre, and as soon as I asked them who was calling, they just cut me off. So I went ahead and blocked the number.

I got a call way too early this morning, but I didn’t pick up. This isn’t the first time it’s happened either. Honestly, I’m starting to think there’s some sort of list with numbers of people who aren’t exactly friendly to these callers - probably including me - and they get rung up before 8am almost every day just to annoy us. I’ve even gone as far as unplugging the phone beside my bed now, though I really hope I don’t miss any calls from my son, who’s currently doing peacekeeping work in Africa.

Had one of those daft cold callers the other day, rang up asking for someone who hasn't lived here for ages. Told him they'd moved out months back and he just ended the call. Felt good to make him lose a bit of time, considering how these cheeky people keep wasting mine.

Got another call today, 24th Nov, second time now since the first one on the 19th. Since the number was unfamiliar, I just didn’t pick up. Let the phone ring on auto-answer but said nothing back.

My phone buzzed, I picked up and it instantly went to auto-answer. After that, I got a message saying the line was busy, then it just dropped out.
