I reckon it’s linked to some scam group called sparta telecom or something like that. They seem to use loads of different numbers when they call. I also had calls from 02034559279 and 02034559277 on other days. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from a woman claiming she was with Sparta Telecom and said they wanted to check some money with me - the sceptical part of me didn't buy it. When I asked how they got my number, all she said was it came from their database. I told her that’s probably against GDPR rules since I never agreed to it, and she promised they'd delete my details. Honestly, I’m not holding my breath!

Sounds like a telemarketer ringin' from some call centre, they were talkin' about sparta telecom and even mentioned some personal stuff which was pretty worrying. Called me on Easter Monday, so no respect for religious holidays it seems. I've reported the number to fraud UK cause I thought cold calling like this was banned here nowadays.
