Got a call from someone named 'John' saying he was with BT Open Reach security about some issues on my PC. Thing is, BT never ring you like this out of the blue - so it's definitely dodgy. Other folks have said this same number pretended to be from Microsoft before, so that just proves it's a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with ncfc.gov.uk, sounded odd since that’s supposed to be National Farmers. The bloke was really pushy, so I just hung up. Then he rang back like 10 times! Eventually I just left the phone on the table and let him keep jabbering away on his own. After he kept yapping for a bit, he finally gave up. Had a strong Indian accent but wouldn’t say exactly where he was from, bit rude too. Lucky for me, I enjoy messing with people like that!

Today I got a call on my landline from a man who sounded Indian or maybe Asian, saying he was from Amazon. He asked for Mrs [my surname], I told him she wasn’t here. Then he wanted to talk to the homeowner. When I explained Mrs [my surname] isn’t the owner, he got really pushy and said it was urgent. I stood firm and refused to carry on, and then out of nowhere he threatened me with a really nasty comment about kicking my privates! I was frozen for a moment, asked him to repeat himself and he said it again! I gave him a reply he deserved and hung up quick. I get terrible anxiety and this call really upset me.
