Received a call on 30th July but didn’t answer. The same number rang again today, 4th August, but it just buzzed once and then stopped. Didn’t recognise the number, but it seemed a bit familiar so I called back to see who it was. A recorded message came on saying it was from Curry’s PC World, so I ended the call. I haven’t bought anything from them in ages, so I looked up the number online and found loads of others got calls from it too - looks like it might be a scam. I’ve blocked it now.

Somebody was phoning me to offer an extended warranty for a fridge I'd ordered but then cancelled. When I asked if they were really from Curry's, they said they needed to verify my personal details to check my purchase history. I said no at first, but after quite a bit of insistence they gave me details of my latest purchase which was spot on. So I figured they were legit.
