Got into work today and saw loads of missed calls from these guys, all coming in overnight. A few days back, they were ringing pretty much every desk in our big open plan office, non-stop for about half an hour. It got a bit funny actually, like if someone didn’t get a call, they felt like they’d missed out. We tried picking up and explaining it was an entire office they were calling, but they just kept going!

Some bloke called Joe, said he was from Direct Claims or some similar place, claiming he could sort out a refund on interest for my mortgage. Sounds a bit fishy, right? It was only when I questioned him properly did he admit they were talking about PPI being stuffed onto my mortgage repayments without me knowing. Total scammer, that one.

Got a call on 29th September. Totally a scam, they wouldn't say what they knew about my mortgage, just kept pushing me to spell out my last name ?????? When I said no, they passed me on to someone else who did the exact same thing, then onto another person - all with Asian accents. In the end, I told them to buzz off.
