I really can't make out what the person on the phone is saying and they've been ringing my mobile a lot lately. How on earth did they get hold of my number in the first place? Mobile companies must be selling our numbers to these marketing firms. They should honestly be fined so badly they nearly go bankrupt, because that's the only way they'll ever stop doing this.

Got calls from this number three times today. I looked it up before picking up but ended up calling back anyway. The operator told me the number doesn’t exist! So how come it keeps showing on my phone? If no one’s gonna pick up, why don’t they just leave a message? If it’s really important, ringing over and over seems pointless.

So, Vanquis Bank, which is linked to Provident Financial, got in touch with me trying to get me to sign up for a credit card. I've dealt with both these firms in the past and it wasn't great. My number’s off the public list and I'm on the TPS register. When I warned them that using my number could lead to a fine, they ended up closing the account and took my number off their records.
