Luckily, we never pick up calls from unknown numbers and always look them up first. Still, these calls are such a pain!UK11 yearsJust got a call from some company called BTG. This bloke sounded proper slick, going on about how since we hadn’t claimed on our Sky gear insurance, he could sort us a better deal. Kept going on like “doesn’t that saving sound great to you?” I told him nope, I don’t handle the bills, then passed the phone to my husband. Lucky I’m sharp, because after a similar call a few months ago, we rang Sky straight away and got insurance through them instead. What really winds me up is how they already know we never made a claim. These calls do my head in. They’re such a bloody nuisance, always seem to pick on pensioners like we’re daft or something.
