Got a call from someone claiming to be with Tesco Mobile, which is the company we’re with. My partner ended up on the phone with her for about an hour because she told him he had to upgrade to 4G/5G. Then she sent an email to me that just seemed a bit dodgy. Still trying to figure out what’s going on!

Got a call from some woman with an Indian accent saying she was from Tesco, threatening to disconnect my service if I didn’t sort things out in 48 hours. She said they'd send a link with a weird long hex code at the end. When I kept asking questions, she finally emailed me from an address that was obviously fake - something like "tesco-upgrade.com" - made me laugh how obvious it was.

Got a call from this number on my TPS-listed phone, and I’ve stopped picking up if I don’t know who’s calling. After seeing what others have said here, I decided to go ahead and block it. Big thanks to everyone who shared their experiences - if even one person avoids a scam because of it, then it’s definitely helped.

I didn't answer the call, and there wasn't any voicemail either. My phone flagged the number as likely spam. After reading the reviews, I've decided it’s best to just block it, better safe than sorry.

Scam alert! Someone called saying they were from Tesco Mobile and warned me my data would be stopped in two days unless I gave them all my info for a new SIM. Thing is, I’m nowhere near a Tesco customer! Definitely dodgy.

Got a call on my wife’s phone this morning from a lady with a thick Indian accent claiming she was from Tesco. When my wife asked which Tesco, the caller quickly tried to push SIM cards, so she hung up straight away. Later on, the same number rang me, but I didn’t pick up. Definitely felt like one of those call centre scams to me.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from Tesco’s in London, but honestly, she sounded like she was from some call centre in India. It felt really dodgy, so I just ended the call. And just to be clear, I’m not with Lyca or anything like that, unlike what someone else mentioned in a review.

They said they were from Tesco, but you can tell it’s a call centre with all the noise in the background. I asked them which Tesco branch they were ringing from and then they just cut off straight away.

Is it just me or are others here using Lyca Mobile too? I can't shake the feeling that Lyca might be sharing or selling our phone numbers. Right after I got my SIM, I found this very number popping up as a contact somewhere. Since then, my phone's been acting so odd, like someone's messing with it. Anyone else noticing something similar?

Got a call from this number and an Asian woman claimed she was with Sky. I told her I didn’t believe her, but she insisted she was. I asked “Sky what exactly?” and she said “Sky network.” Still wasn’t clear if she meant TV, mobile, or internet. I reminded her she’d rung me a few days ago on another number and I’d already said I wasn’t interested. She seemed a bit rattled after that and just ended the call.

Got a call from both 02 and sky at the same time. They said I’m gonna receive 5 new SIM cards, probably coz there’s been so many complaints. Also mentioned some 30% off deal and even a new smartphone. They asked for loads of info like my name, address, email and wanted me to confirm my password! Had me laughing, seemed dodgy to me.

Every week they switch to a new phone number, constantly bugging and trying to scam people. They’re just trying to dig up personal info and if you don’t hand it over, they’ll start harassing you badly. It’s totally illegal and really exhausting.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Sky saying there’s a problem with our SIM cards. Me and my other half both actually work for Sky Mobile, so we know straight away it’s a dodgy scam. If you’re with Sky and worried you might have given out info, best thing to do is update your password on the app or online. Or just ring 150 from your mobile and ask for Mobile Tech Support - they’ll help lock down your account.

Watch out, this is 100% a scam! I got a call from someone supposedly calling from London, but they were definitely a call centre in India. They claimed I was an existing Sky Mobile customer and offered me a 30% discount even though I’ve never even had Sky Mobile. When I called them out on it, they had the nerve to say I was being rude! It’s really pathetic how these nasty scammers make a career out of this. I told her to go rot in hell!

Got two calls from the same number, missed the first, so I looked it up before the second one came like 40 minutes later. The woman on the phone said she was ringing about my O2 contract. I told her I’m not an O2 customer. Then she insisted I was, and if not, her records showed I was with Virgin. I told her nope, neither. Then she claimed I was with EE. I’m not with any of those. Had some time to kill, so I figured I’d keep her on the line. Classic scammers!

Got a call claiming they were swapping our O2 SIM cards and that we’d be offline for a couple of days. They asked for my email and then sent a verification code, wanting me to read it out loud.
