I took the call just to mess with them a bit, and was pretty surprised they already knew my name without telling me who they were calling for. Told them this isn't my number anymore and then ended the call. Going to block that number now. Merry Christmas everyone!

I got two calls earlier but only picked up the last one yesterday evening. A woman calling herself 'Roxanne' told me I'd supposedly won something in the EuroMillions after supposedly joining a survey or competition. She rattled off my name, birthday and email as if she had all my info, then asked for my bank sort code and more. I told her I wasn't interested and definitely wasn’t handing over any bank details on the phone before ending the call.
