I picked up but quickly hung up. Then I just blocked the number.

I suspect I may have received a dodgy phone call earlier. The person on the line claimed that I had won £100 worth of lottery tickets and was quite insistent on obtaining my bank information too. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I’ve never picked up their calls but they just keep ringing over and over again. I even sent a message telling them I’m hard of hearing and won’t be answering, yet they just carry on like I never said anything. It’s so annoying! I’ve now blocked the number but they still managed to be a right pain. Honestly, such a waste of both our time.

I got a call from this number saying I’d won a prize from Morrisons. They already had some of my info, which made me suspicious. The call was a bit all over the place, and then they pushed me to join some lottery group for £39. That’s when they admitted they weren’t really from Morrisons, so I just hung up. I’ve also told Morrisons about them using their loyalty card as a trick. When I tried calling back, it was an automated message saying ‘Thanks for calling SuperLottos’. I’ve since blocked the number.

I got loads of calls from this number but luckily I use an app that filters out spam. It automatically stopped the calls from getting through.

Got a call from someone looking for a person who doesn’t even live here. Once I told them it was the wrong number, they started rambling about some product they wanted to sell. I just ended the call.

Saw an unfamiliar number pop up and just let it go to voicemail. Didn’t get any message, so I’ve put it on my blocked list now!

Got a call claiming it's a completely "safe" chance to win a syndicate lottery. Funny how they say it's risk-free when obviously, there's always some risk involved! Can't believe the cheek of that.

I didn't pick up, but the call ended pretty fast.

Got a call saying I’d won some TV competition last week, but I definitely hadn’t entered anything like that.

Someone called me saying I’d won 75 lottery tickets and that they’d put me in a syndicate for a year. They wanted me to give my numbers but I told them I wasn’t interested in joining, then they just hung up. I had a look here afterwards and it’s a relief I dodged a call from a dodgy number.

So yesterday I took part in a competition on Facebook that Aldi was running, hoping to win a free food hamper to donate to charity. Today, I got a phone call from someone claiming to be from a "promotions company". They said I’d won 10 free entries for the EuroMillions draw on Friday plus 75 entries for the weekly draws. But then they dropped the bombshell that it would cost me £39 a month. I told them that hardly sounded free and asked them to delete my info from their system, at which point they just hung up on me!

They just keep calling but I’ve not picked up once.

I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, and this one’s no different. I’ve read that it’s a scam, which makes sense because I’ve had to block loads of their numbers since they ring me pretty much every single day.

The person on the phone sounded quite nice and seemed to have all my details, like my full name, address, and email. Then they asked me for my top 5 lottery numbers. Afterwards, they gave a list of banks to pick where I’d want my prize paid. When they asked for my sort code, I got suspicious. Then they said they wouldn’t ask for the long card number and that they’d pass me to their manager - that’s when I just ended the call! Told them off and blocked the number straight away.

They keep calling me every hour using different phone numbers. I've blocked them all but they just keep coming back!

Got a call from some scammer wanting my personal details. Best thing to do is just hang up straight away and block their number, don’t even bother talking to them.

Got a call from someone saying I had won free entries to the Euro Lottery. After they got my name, address and birthday, they told me they didn’t need any “personal details” like my card number. Then they went on to ask which bank I use and even wanted my sort code. I told them no way I was sharing that sort code, so they just said thanks and ended the call.
