Got a call from someone claiming I’d won a Samsung Galaxy in a contest. Thing is, I never entered any competition like that! They insisted I must have since that's how they got my info, but I’m sure I didn’t. Plus, there was a lot of noise in the background, like a busy room full of people chatting. If this was a proper, legit call, I doubt they’d be so noisy. Pretty sure it was just a scam.

I got a call from a lady with an Indian accent saying I’d won some EuroMillions tickets. She claimed if I really won, she wouldn’t be asking for anything except maybe some chocolates. She mentioned GDPR and insisted she wouldn’t want my full card info like the number, expiry, or CVV, but she did ask for my sort code and account number - said it could be from any bank like Monzo, Barclays or Lloyds. When I told her I couldn’t find my wallet, she asked if I was scared. I kept her on the line for ages. When I told her to ring me back later she sounded a bit annoyed.
