Got a call from a lady who sounded Asian, trying to pretend she was calling from London. Her accent was so thick I barely made out what she was saying. She claimed I’d won some online competition from a survey I supposedly did yesterday around 11:30am. I had to ask her to repeat herself loads of times, at least 5 or 6. Thinking it was a total con, I decided to put on the strongest Scottish accent I could muster, telling her I couldn’t catch a single word. Could tell she got proper annoyed, so I’m calling that a win since it probably stopped her from trying to trick anyone else.
