So this was a survey from Iceland where they promise you a discount in store if you take part, but you have to agree to get promotional messages by text, call, or email. Thing is, if you say yes, they end up sending you three texts a week and charge you £1.50 for each one - that’s like £4.50 weekly! Even if you text back ‘stop’ to opt out, they still hit you with a £1.50 fee to unsubscribe. What annoys me most is that the whole thing is pushed through Facebook ads in the first place. Definitely let your older family members or younger siblings know about this before they fall for it.
