Got a call from 020 3608 8966 claiming I’d won a huge lottery, then they asked for my bank info to send the money. Obviously a scam! Just block these cold callers, don’t answer or give them anything. They’re just trying to trick you.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Birmingham, sounded dodgy so I just ended the call. Later I tried 1471 to check who rang me back and saw it was a mobile number. When I rang it, a guy called Stuart answered and the voicemail asked to leave a message. Looks like the scammer’s name is Stuart and he’s definitely from Birmingham, the number was 07595598505.

Got a call where the person said my full name right away. When I asked who it was, they claimed it was about a contest I’d supposedly joined to win a trip to Bordeaux. I don’t often enter these things, but I had just done one recently. Told them to ring back later as I was driving. Later, I looked up the number and after reading others' experiences with it, I’m going to block it now.

Got a call from someone telling me I’d won £14 million and that I’m part of some kind of syndicate. They claimed I could bag £93,000, a Bentley Bentayga, and even a posh £75 million mansion up on the hills. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it.

I got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who asked for me by my first name. I told him he could try my last name, but of course he didn’t know it, which was pretty odd. He then said I’d won some kind of online contest, but I haven’t signed up for anything like that. I told him he was just wasting both our time, then I ended the call and blocked the number.

The person on the line had a strong Indian accent and immediately told me I’d supposedly won £1 million. I hung up straight away. Since I don’t know anyone from India and these kinds of calls usually involve lottery scams, I’d say it’s pretty dodgy and probably a phishing attempt. Plus, with that many calls in one day, I’d definitely call it annoying and harassing. My advice? Don’t pick up!

Someone rang me up saying I’d won a prize from a place called Weatherspoon, but not the pub chain, just “Weatherspoon” on its own. I couldn’t stop asking what a Weather spoon actually was, and it was pretty funny trying to get them to explain it. After some back and forth, I found out it was actually from this company First World Lotto, which apparently is famous for peddling fake lottery tickets. Dodgy as hell!

Apparently, he’s located at 71/75 Charlton Street, Common Gardens, London. Seemed a bit dodgy to me!
