I was having a chat with this dodgy character who insisted I’d won some competition I hadn’t even heard of. Once I mentioned that I hadn’t participated at all, the call abruptly cut off. He had the audacity to ask for my bank information, claiming it was necessary to collect my ‘prize’!

Called by 020 3608 9315, they first chatted about my favourite lotto numbers, sounded a bit off. Then suddenly they started asking about my bank, and next thing they want my account number and sort code. Definitely felt like a scam to me!
