The woman on the phone told me I had also got a deal for 10 free EuroMillions lines, which I was happy to take (who wouldn’t want something free?) and she then started having me choose numbers for the tickets. She kept saying she didn’t need any bank card info or anything like that, but then asked which bank account I’d want the winnings paid into if I won. Things got dodgy when she requested my sort code and tried to convince me it was totally safe, saying “nothing can be taken from your account with just your sort code and account number as it’s not sensitive info.” I refused to give her the details not once or twice but three times, and then she suddenly ended the call.
