Someone just phoned me saying I’d won an iPhone 12 plus loads of cash. Totally a scam, don’t fall for it!

02036084374 Got a call from this number claiming they were from a company I supposedly entered a raffle with to win an Ebike. The woman on the phone told me I had also got a deal for 10 free EuroMillions lines, which I was happy to take (who wouldn’t want something free?) and she then started having me choose numbers for the tickets. She kept saying she didn’t need any bank card info or anything like that, but then asked which bank account I’d want the winnings paid into if I won. Things got dodgy when she requested my sort code and tried to convince me it was totally safe, saying “nothing can be taken from your account with just your sort code and account number as it’s not sensitive info.” I refused to give her the details not once or twice but three times, and then she suddenly ended the call. Total red flags for me.

So this person called saying I’d won some sort of lottery, laughable really, then offered me free entries and claimed they’d send them to my house since they already had my address. Then, without a word, they just dropped the call. Weird!

Got a call from this number at 8.30 in the morning, which is quite odd since most companies or sales callers usually don't bother that early. I'm pretty sure it's some sort of scam.

Got a call from a lady with a South African accent about some Euromillions thing, but she just hung up. Honestly, she ought to remember that real joy isn't about money - it's all fleeting. We should appreciate the little wonders around us. Try to look beyond the material world and connect with the universe itself. Stop clinging to stuff. Understand people and offer forgiveness. By the way, I’ve just put out a book called "Self-enlightenment for the Zoomer Generation" which costs a mere £59.99, and as a bonus, I’m throwing in a rare pen I swiped from the betting shop. I take cash, bank transfers, Dogecoin, and... well, let’s just say other kinds of payments too!

I nearly got tricked the other day by this woman who rang me a couple of times. She was telling me I'd been picked for a EuroMillions draw and asked for my bank info. Luckily, I didn't give anything away!

Been gettin calls from this bloke for ages now, finally decided to pick up today. He kicked off with a big congrats, using my name and all, then said he was Wayne. Went on about me winning 300 tickets for the EuroMillions and that I was 1 in 150 lucky folks. Then he started saying if I was a winner he’d share the cash. Next thing, he wanted my bank sort code. Kept going on about it not being a scam and rubbish like that. So, I stuck the call on speaker and put my Alexa Dot right beside the phone. Think he twigged when Alexa said she couldn’t help him out.

Got a call saying I’d won a holiday from some online competition I supposedly entered recently. They wouldn’t tell me the website or the name of the company running it, kept insisting it was just an internet contest. Total scam, don’t trust it!

Got a call saying I’d bagged a £500 Tesco voucher and they needed to confirm my details. I just laughed and said they could send it by post if it was true!
