For the last three days, they've been ringing me nonstop. When I finally picked up today, they just hung up straight away. Proper weird behaviour.

They rang me once more, so I answered in a hoarse voice. They started chatting about how I'd won some lottery tickets and wanted my bank info. Ha, as if I'd give that out! I just let him keep going, knowing I wasn't paying attention, and eventually he twigged and hung up.

This number 03332027463 kept ringing me, but I only just figured out I had actually blocked it ages ago. Then suddenly, a message landed in my voicemail with an automated voice telling me to ring them back, but if I was outside the country, to use 02036083999 instead. It sounded quite legit, but I'm pretty sure it’s all a scam. Neither of those numbers have anything to do with Barclays at all.

This number, 03332027463, kept ringing me despite me thinking I had blocked it ages ago. Out of nowhere, it managed to get through and left a message on my voicemail. The automated voice told me to ring them back on that number, but if I was overseas, they gave another one: 02036083999. It sounded pretty legit, but it's totally a scam. Neither of these are linked to Barclays at all.

Some woman with an accent called asking for the homeowner, but I said I was the cleaner and that the lady of the house was at the dentist and to try again later.

This number purports to be from the fraud department of Barclays, yet Barclays has explicitly stated that this is not one of their official contacts. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Got a call from someone who said they were from Barclays fraud team, sounded pretty convincing tbh, but Barclays themselves said the number doesn't belong to them at all.

I keep getting calls from 02036083999, but luckily my BT Call Guardian stops my phone from ringing whenever they call. It seems like they might be using lots of similar numbers too. I've blocked them all now, and honestly, I'd suggest using Call Guardian if you want to avoid these annoying calls.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Barclays fraud team, sounded Scottish. He wanted my info but I didn't give anything out since I wasn't sure who he really was. He then told me to ring through the app. I rang Barclays myself after and they said no one had phoned me. Total scam, what muppets!

Got a call from this number around half past four in the afternoon on the 19th of November, 2018. The guy claimed his name was Shaheed and that he was calling from BT, offering a lower monthly bill starting next month. I told him it didn't sound legit, even though he insisted it was, and then I just ended the call.

No response, definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone pretending they were sorting out my line rental fees. I told them straight up to get lost 'cause I knew it was a scam and said I’d report 'em to the cops. Then he told me to just hang up, so I shouted back at him. Even after that, he wouldn't drop the call, so I just ended it myself.

I keep getting calls from someone who won’t stop asking to speak to the person who owns this number. Definitely feels like a scam to me.

My elderly mother has been receiving persistent calls from this number, claiming they intend to take legal action against her. It’s causing her quite a bit of distress, although she mentioned that they would need to send her a letter, as she struggles to hear properly over the phone.

Received a call from someone with an Asian accent inquiring if I was the owner of this phone number. When I pressed for details and asked who was calling, they simply replied with "James!" which set off alarm bells. Definitely a scam!

Here we go again - another dodgy call claiming they can slash your line rental costs! It’s absolutely laughable, especially since my charges seem to climb higher every month. Don’t be taken in by this drivel; just hang up and save yourself the hassle!

Phone rings but no one answers, which really freaked my mum out since there was no one speaking. Then it just disconnects. After looking up the number with 1471, it seems calling back could cost a fortune. Best to avoid calling them altogether.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman who claimed my line rental fees were set to decrease. Quite frankly, it's all nonsense - they only seem to rise! I have my suspicions that it was some sort of dubious scheme, so do be cautious!

I’m a BT customer and they NEVER ring you, they always send letters through the post. it’s awful how these scammers try to trick old folks who might actually believe them since they speak all polite like “ma’am”. total con artists! phone number was 0002036083999.
