Got a call from 02036082674 claiming I’d signed up for a competition yesterday for some kind of vouchers - never specified which ones - but I never entered ANY competition! They also said my entry was successful and I could get 10 free euro lotto tickets. Told them again I didn’t enter anything. They apologised for disturbing me and then I ended the call. This was their first call to me and I’ve blocked the number now. I reckon they’ll try another number eventually, but I’ll just block that one too.

Got a call from a bloke claiming I'd made it to the semi-finals of some competition I'd supposedly joined to win a Dyson. He already had all my details - full name, address, even my DOB. Then he mentioned I'd been given free EuroMillions tickets to play in Friday’s draw and asked me which numbers I'd pick. When he started asking which bank account he'd send the prize money to if I won, I knew it was a scam and quickly cut him off.

I got a call from a bloke with a strong US accent claiming I’d won some vouchers for Primark. Thing is, I never entered any kind of contest, so straight away it seemed dodgy.

He then told me to choose five numbers from 1 to 50, saying if I got them right I’d win a lottery subscription. Supposedly, I’d get a free month, but after that it would cost me £39 each month.

Looks like a classic scam, probably aimed at older folks who might fall for it.

I got a call about some free Lenor promo - I wasn’t really paying attention since I already have an account with P&G and assumed it was connected. The person calling was quite unpleasant and didn’t seem to have a clue how they got my info or how the Lenor deal was being shared around. I’m definitely putting that number on my block list now.

Got a call from some lady claiming I’d won vouchers for Iceland, which I haven’t even shopped at for years. I told her it sounded dodgy, but she kept insisting it wasn’t a scam and just asked for my info. I wasn’t having any of it and ended the call. Never even entered any contest with Iceland, so definitely seems like a scam to grab personal details and probably sell them on.
