Absolute con job. They said I’d signed up for some online contest and then rattled off my email, phone number and an address they had down (which was actually my office, not home). Then they claimed I’d won 10 free Euromillions entries, made me pick numbers, and tried to get my bank info to send any winnings. I told them no way was I sharing my bank details, they kept pressing, I repeated myself and then they just hung up.

I received a call from someone who sounded like they were from abroad, claiming I had signed up for a competition on the 17th of July. They had all my personal info, including my name, address, and date of birth. Naturally, I was taken aback and asked how they had obtained my details, to which they mentioned something about entering a competition with "Win the Best Prizes." The truth is, I've never taken part in any such competition. I decided to end the conversation there as I really didn't want to engage any further.

I received a call from a chap claiming I’d won a £500 prize from Rituals. He went on about how I had 40 opportunities to bag a win in this weekend's Euro Lottery. Can you believe the audacity? When I expressed interest and provided a couple of numbers, he abruptly changed the tone and asked for my bank details - sort code and account number, no less! Naturally, I flatly refused. He insisted it was legitimate, saying it was all part of the prize, but I could smell the scam from a mile off. The guy identified himself as Dylan, but I wasn't falling for it. Quite dodgy if you ask me!

Last week, I put up some ads on Gumtree, and ever since, I've been bombarded with calls from people who just go silent when I pick up. I’ve ended up blocking a fair few numbers already.
