He alleged that my internet connection had been compromised by unauthorized users, and suggested they were downloading inappropriate material. When I mentioned that I only have an Android tablet and not a proper computer, he insisted that I power it up. Feeling rather uneasy about the whole situation, I pretended I’d misplaced it and expressed my disdain for individuals who attempt to perpetrate such scams.
