Got a call from some bloke named Blaine claiming to be from South Africa. He wanted to talk to the MD about some urgent money issue. I let him know MD wasn’t around, and he said he’d just email instead. I’ve since blocked the number, so fingers crossed they don’t ring again.

Absolutely shocking behaviour! I asked to speak to a specific person, the director of BL Ltd, but the caller insisted it was me, which is totally wrong as I’m not connected to that company at all. When I tried to correct them, the person on the line got really cheeky and just hung up on me. I rang the company back three times to make a complaint, and every time I got someone just as rude who ended the call abruptly. Whoever runs this place seriously needs to rethink how they train their staff because this kind of treatment is just disgraceful. I’ve blocked their number now.

They actually knew my name and one of my businesses, but then tried pushing me to set up a meeting with some ‘senior advisor’. When I said I wasn’t up for a consultation, they sounded pretty annoyed, even though they claimed to have my best interests at heart. The company was called something like CFS, if I remember right.
