Got a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be conducting a "national loft survey" about eligibility for some kind of conversion. He asked if I owned my home. My lease agreements around the loft are pretty complicated so I was sure I wouldn’t be eligible, even if this was legit. He mentioned it was just five quick questions. But when I told him the loft wasn’t part of my property deeds, he quickly thanked me and hung up. It just felt a bit dodgy to me.
