I received a call from a firm claiming to investigate mis-sold insurance policies. They mentioned Aviva, and when I interjected to clarify that I didn’t hold a policy with them, the caller continued with a barrage of questions. They then became quite insistent, probing about the age of a child I had in the background. I explained, citing data protection laws, that I wouldn’t disclose any personal information. Unfortunately, their attitude shifted dramatically, becoming quite rude and confrontational. It was quite off-putting!
