Got a call from someone claiming to be Carphone Warehouse, but they had no clue about any of my info. They kept asking loads of questions but said they couldn’t tell me anything because of data protection. They mentioned they could lower my bill, which was obviously just a ploy to get my details. I just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from 020 3603 6839, some bloke claiming he was from O2 trying to pitch a business account to me. Seemed off though, since I’m already with them on a business plan. Felt a bit dodgy if you ask me.

They just rang me up, asking if I was the person who owns the account. Honestly, if it’s really EE calling, they’d have the account holder's name already. Bit pointless, isn’t it?

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE, trying to pitch a better deal for my business account. The strange thing is, they had no clue what my name was or who actually holds the account. I told them I’d already talked to EE’s customer service about it so I wasn’t interested. The whole call felt off and definitely didn’t sound like an official EE line. Feels like they’d just dug up info from my Facebook business page or something.

I didn't press the link, luckily, and just called EE straight away. I had a bad gut feeling about the link, and EE told me it was actually a phishing attempt! Honestly, folks, avoid clicking on weird links like that.

got a message a moment ago claiming to be from ee saying they couldn’t check my ee account details. since my phone’s actually with ee, i called their customer service and they told me straight up it was a scam! they said it’s odd i got it coz usually it’s just new customers who get tricked by these texts.
