I dont recognise any calls from London numbers so I just hang up right away, no interest in some sales nonsense whether its legit or a scam. Why do these annoying people keep harassing us? Got a call from some guy overseas trying to sell me life insurance. I told him I’d reach out if I ever needed to change anything and that I wasn’t interested in what he was offering. Ended the call and blocked the number straight away.

Anyone ringing to say your insurance has expired or there’s an issue is most likely trying to scam you. Just block any number that sends texts or calls with those claims. Be sure to warn your mates, family, and especially older people, so they don’t get caught out. Let’s all do our part to protect those around us.

Suspicious bloke who didnt really get how to speak English right

Had this bloke on the line talking super quick about life insurance or something, but I couldn’t catch half of it. I just told him straight up I ain’t got that. Then he started going on about mortgages, which I don’t have either, so I just ended the call. Total waste of time!

Someone phoned saying they wanted to review my life insurance to make sure I wasn’t paying too much - sounded pretty official, asked me to verify my name and address which he already had. But when he asked for my date of birth, claiming he could find it on Facebook, I ended the call straight away. Didn’t seem right to me.
