Hello there, I just wanted to share a rather distressing experience my mother had this morning. She received a call from this number, and the person on the line claimed they were inquiring about home improvements. When my mum politely declined any interest, a chap named Dave erupted with some rather foul language, calling her a "F***ING B****," and then went on to say that he would be sending people over to carry out some work, insisting it was already arranged. The thing is, my mum has only had some previous work done by Safeglaze and hasn’t scheduled anything else with them or any other company. This incident left her quite shaken and upset, so I thought it only right to warn others about this number. Stay vigilant!

Got a call from this number saying they were from Safestyle and wanted to inspect my bricks for damp or water damage. Having previously been a customer, I was inundated with relentless sales calls from them, as well as their sister company, VIRGO. I received a call from a chap named David regarding energy assessments for my home. I had already made it clear months ago that I wasn't interested. However, I reiterated my disinterest, and promptly hung up. He promptly rang me again, accusing me of being "rude"! I countered that, in fact, it was he who was being impolite by failing to accept my refusal. I hung up once more, but lo and behold, he called back again. I received a call during the late afternoon, and I have a nagging feeling they may have tried to get in touch before, as I've been inundated with calls from 02036 numbers. The caller, a woman with an Asian accent, referred to me as M'am, which felt quite formal. There was a cacophony of what sounded like office chatter in the background. When I inquired who was on the line, she mentioned something regarding "home improvements". I quickly informed her I wasn't in the least bit interested and asked her to remove my number from their list. She seemed perplexed, repeating, “You’re not interested?” as if such a response was utterly unfathomable. I reiterated my request to be taken off their list and expressed that I didn't wish to engage any further. Is this a scam? I have my suspicions! And will they actually remove my details? I highly doubt it.

I keep getting these persistent calls from a firm called LCHI (or something along those lines) promoting their double glazing deals. We've made it crystal clear that we don’t wish to be contacted, yet the calls just keep on coming. Honestly, it feels like harassment at this point, especially considering we had our double glazing sorted out several years ago!

They called me about some enquiry I supposedly made back in 2016 for two windows and a door, saying I still had £500 left to spend. When I told them I'd already had my windows done, they started asking about soffits, roofs and all that. In the end, you just have to hang up to get them off the phone.
